Center for Advising Navigators

Navigators with the Center for Advising work directly with a Student Success Coordinator or Academic Coordinator to help their students navigate through their first year at MSU. Navigators reach out to students in a variety of ways, including via text, email phone call, and even face-to-face meetings and study sessions. Navigators work to motivate students and develop academic and time management plans as needed. 

CFA Navigators are available for students to help build a sense of belonging, opening up with their students about their own previous struggles in college and helping develop solutions for any issues they are facing. 

Navigators meet with their coordinator weekly. They maintain office hours in Old Main, providing time for face-to-face meetings with their students.
